2009 When You Can't Quilt, Draw
If you have quilting on the brain, but aren't in a spot to actually quilt - DRAW! In this course, we'll learn to draw with a quilty mindset.
As a creative person, you may find you are always thinking about your craft but may not always have availability to your actual craft-of-choice. Let's take for example, QUILTING. Specifically the finishing steps of machine quilting: You may need
• The machine (or midarm/longarm)
• Batting, fabric
• Fabric
• The actual quilt
• And other supplies that are probably back at the house.
With this class and easy printable, you'll learn how to brainstorm your ideas to hone you quilting skills and style when you cannot be with all your supplies.
You'll learn how to draw and plan your stitching path, should you want to translate this design to fabric later.
NOTE: This class was originally part of the Quilter's Life Summit in 2025. It is one complete drawing class at just over 23 minutes long.
