Let's Practice FREE-MOTION QUILTING!
Join this Beginner Free-Motion Quilting course at the Quilty Quill as we create a 15” Mini Wholecloth Design.
We'll sketch, brainstorm, and quilt symmetrical designs to accidently create a really unique piece. This workshop follows the concepts in the book, Free-Motion Framework by Jen Eskridge.
The workshop breaks down the process to just quilting 4 spaces at a time. That's it. It looks amazing and impactful, but really, we are just working on 4 spaces at a time. You got this!!!
This class is a Free-Motion Quilting course taught on a domestic home-sewing machine. You certainly can work through this class on a longarm. This is an beginner level class. We'll walk you through the designs and the process, create straight lines, a few elongated teardrops and letter Js, and make a wave in the outer circle arch.
Of course, you are welcome to change any of the motifs in your project to suit your skill level.
You do not need to own Free-Motion Framework book to take this class.

Star catcher mini wholecloth
I just completed the free online class which was awesome! I followed step by step watching and then doing it on my longarm. I am happy to see my little whole cloth came out pretty darn good thanks to the excellent step by step directions!! Thanks for offering this as a free class to try this technique!!
