IMAGINE YOUR ORIGINAL ART
DIGITIZED
Are you an artist who wants to break into selling vector-based digital designs?
Are you a quilter who wants to customize and personalize your finished project?
Do you draw a bit, but aren't sure you have the patience to dive into learning digitizing software?
Let JEN at the Quilty Quill help you out!
Email me: quiltyquill@gmail.com

Not only does Jen digitize her own artwork for courses here at the Quilty Quill, she offers her digital designs on Etsy. You can also find her digital designs at OESD Longarm and Pro-Stitcher.com.
As a professional quilter and digitizer, Jen knows not only how to make the file, but how the file should function in the hands/computer of the consumer.
Jen also works as a freelance graphic designer in the marketing department at a brand name embroidery company and handles the graphics for her local quilt guild.

1. Check the file you are providing relative to its complexity, its "one continuous line" options (for longarm quilting,) and assess the provided format.
2. Estimate the time needed to make the design.
3. Discuss companion or collection inspired artwork for your end use. Jen often creates companion artwork elements and works in collections. These would be included with your flat fee quote.
4. Review and sign Service Agreement Contract & 50% deposit paid.
5. Reasonable revisions as necessary to the project.
6. Pay in full and digital files delivered via private google drive folder.
All designs are quoted on a flat fee based on a $50/hour rate with a $50 minimum.
Why does this matter: Longarm quilting designs sell for about $10-$15 per product. Digital collections can be sold at various price points.
How many will you have to sell to make a $150-$300 return on investment? Not too many. And the best part is, your designs are digital and you can resell them many times over.
The file types can be used for personal and for-hire longarm quilting.
The file types can be sold online either by the client or by a 3rd party website.
Quilting files include a notes section (the notes section isn’t often seen by the end consumer) that will say:
“Professionally digitized by Jen Eskridge for the Quilty Quill. Copyright YEAR {your name here}”
No additional attribution is needed.
