Pam Smith Karr

I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation. I will be using some of your ideas/designs very soon on a somewhat abstract pieced quilt for my son. I am currently piecing it as I watch the presentations this week. Thank you so much!

Joanne Menzel Blair

I will be watching this over and over and over. Thank you!!!!!

Delora Dixon

Enjoyed your session very much.

Gail Connelly Pape

Great design, learned a lot! Thank you!

Donnita White Cook

Awesome class!!! I can’t wait to try it!

Laurie Young-Chappell

This was very interesting and I love that it was done on a regular sewing machine I will be trying this as soon as I get some of my other projects done.

DK Barnes

I think maybe I can do it - thank you! Love your style of teaching!

Maureen Martinez

Loving this class!

Karen Pack

I did not expect to love this class so much. But now I am certainly going to give it a try. Thank you, Jen!

Janet Kemp Meeks

Wow! This was so informative! I’m anxious to give it a go. Thanks so much.

Peg Curtis

Wow - what I loved most was that you provided ideas to help some of the wonky lines. My quilting never seems to be perfect and this helped me feel a little more confident.

Sue Hart

Thank you for sharing your expertise! I will have to try this.

Karen Balduzzi

Loved how clear her instructions were, plus watching her demonstrate is an additional plus!

Sabrina Myers

Great job and inspiration. I look forward to working on the different designs that are possible. I really need to slow down when free motion quilting. I can see how that would be helpful to the straight line areas. Thank you.

Dixie Katzung-Bradbury

This was wonderful. Thank you.

Irene Garcia

I have only done straight line crosshatch quilting, but I'm now looking forward to trying the free motion straight line quilting. Thanks for the great class!

Lisa Brooks

I really enjoyed your class. I feel like this is something I could really use.

Lori Keltesch

I loved this course. It was so informative. Also, your little thimble self-sitter is adorable.

Theresa Kellner

This is going to be a great method for me especially quilt as you go blocks.

Jean Brink

Wonderful and very helpful. I learned to use the hopping foot as well as to use washable crayons for marking fabric. also love the suggestion of using a window to trace the design. Also love your designs. thankyou

Florence Joyce McGee

Jen.. i took lots of notes.. so since i am just wanting to learn free motion ... this session was very beneficial thank you!

Dianne Savage

New to this but what I need to learn. Good to see the hopping foot working. Definitely want to do this reference piece for my work.

Jane Morrow

Great class! thank you.

Vicki Zumwalt

Jen, thank you for demystifying this topic, you were great! Your class has been the most valuable for me thus far. One question; do you put the stitch regulator on your machine when doing this or only the hoping foot? You made this seem manageable and I'm going to practice your technique. Thank you again!

Jan Jeffreys

Your tutorial was awesome! I learned so much. I am just starting out on my FMQ journey and with practice I feel sure I can recreate your designs on my projects as you explained everything so well. Thank you for sharing!

Jana Marie Dittmeier Stankus

This was a very informative class. I am looking forward to using some of the designs "the straight cross hatch especially" in the future. Thank you.

Lorinda 'Reinhard' Black

Now I feel silly for never realizing you could draw your pattern before quilting it. As someone who overthinks everything, that’s a game changer. Crayons washable markers… I will have to steal some from the kids art supplies. (It’s ok, they’re all adults now. lol)

Loronda Schuler

Thank you for the free course and templates.

Sandy Toussaint Savage

Thank you so much for these tutorials. My question is; These examples that you are showing are done on a plain clear fabric. So if and when you want to now do these designs on a quilt that you have made are you quilting on the back of the quilt where generally the fabric is plain and doesn’t have blocks or are you free motion quilting on the top of your quilt?

Robyn Becker

Fabulous presentation. And you are so generous with the free pattern and course. I can actually see myself doing this successfully with your guidance. Thank you Jen.

Deborah Miller

Thank you ! You make it look so easy, so I will try it lol

Rhonda Burnett

Fabulous Class love having a drawn design to help with FMQ

Penny Shalosky

Loved this class!

Regina Puetz

Now that was an eye opener. Should ease me into free motion quilting, as I find loops and curves very difficult to do, and with a walking foot all that turning gets very frustrating. Since you don’t drop your feed dogs, I might even attempt this on my small machine I have with me, never could do free motion quilting on it since the feed dogs don’t drop…. I am very excited to try this!

Jessica Greni

Wonderful teacher!!!

Rita Moore

Great course

Sylvia Wagner

Thank you for the nice presentation.

Cheryle Jones

Love these designs! Very doable with your directions on how to accomplish and move!

Marjorie Collings

Very well done! Thank you.

Sandra Cypress

Great class.

Karen Hunt

Thank you! Like the use of the washable markers and work gloves. Also, the designs are really nice and hope to use them. 😀

Donna Sammis Barnett

I have been terrified to try this! Now I am ready to take the plunge! Going toorder some Crayolas and work gloves. Thanks for your clear instructions!

Sheila Brown Russillo

Fantastic! I've never seen a jagged meander done like this- opens possibilities!

Darlene Payne Kopta

Wow! This class clearly shows how to create a custom piece, making it seem doable. I’m excited to go back and try this soon. Thank you!

Jeanne Klay Ebner

Thank you Jen, love the 5 motif's.

Debbie Baker

Loved this! And in checking out your website I saw you book “Deploy that Fabric which I have ordered. As a veteran and retired military spouse, I will put that to immediate use! Thanks!

Elizabeth White

Jen, you pleasantly surprised me, I didn’t think I would be interested in whole cloth quilting as I usually do piecing. However, this was all about the quilting being the “Design showcased”! I loved it! I can see myself using these techniques for sure! Thank you so much 💐💖 for excellent teaching!

Rhoda Boyd

Great class. Thanks! The tip on Crayola markers is also a big help. Some sites have said that washable markers can show up later, even after being washed out. Sounds like Crayola works better.

Shoshana Vogel

what a wonderful class, your teaching style is fantastic and very encouraging. thank y ou so much

Joanna Stadler

I certainly learned more than I thought I would! Didn't think the "whole cloth" subject was for me but many tips have helped me to feel I can do this without needing the walking foot. However, it will take practice on getting a slow, even pace throughout. Good to know about the Crayola markers. Thank you for precise directions and a great presentation!

Lynn Voliva Davenport

Awesome! Can't wait to try to do this.

Lee Hively

Jen, you are so talented. Thank you for a great class. I hope to try some of your online classes soon. For someone who people laugh at my stickmen drawings, I am really out of my comfort zone free-motion quilting. You made it look easy.

Jeanette Campbell Lage

Hi Jen, I must confess that I wasn’t too keen on watching bc I didn’t like the way the block looked with the white thread. Afterwards, I understood why the color choices and could see the value in having a sampler piece of the different sewing looks. I would recommend watching even if you don’t have a long arm, you can still do this exercise using different hand stitching.

Naomi Burch Smith

you've inspired this new to quilting lady! Thanks for your class!

Glenna Elvery

I absolutely love this design!! It was helpful to know how to hide my “oops” by stitching over it!! Thank you!!

Thank you! I learned so much on how to use that presser foot. I did not know how to make all those lines with my free motion quilting foot. Opened some doors for me

Kathleen Brinker

I was about to give up on free motion quilting too, but your course came along and saved the day - thank you for breaking it down into manageable pieces, Jen!

Enjoyed this, thank you.

Adrienne Dold

Thank you for the class; it was very informative, even for someone who has done FMQ and ruler quilting on a domestic machine. I always learn something from a class, and your zigzag meander was the thing!

Sue Gatehouse

This is the best tutorial so far, you are down to earth and explain things clearly and even saying about the pen on your hands. 🙌

Carol McGruer

Class was brilliant.

Maureen Martinez

Great! I’ll get some then. Thanks for the great class!

Judith Marie

Excellent class! Easy to understand and looks so easy to do. Thank you

Charlotte Cabello

Now this wholecloth concept makes sense to me. I really enjoyed this session.

Diane Pohlig

Very clear instructions. Looking forward to trying this.

Karen Santens Ryan

Wow, that was fantastic!! I'm not a free-motion person, I can't draw, and I'm not sure I'll ever be good at it, but I'm really feeling more comfortable. Your classes sound interesting, too. Nice job. The video was so well put together.

Rita Ni

I was amazed at what you presented! I’m just starting to FMQ and usually stick to meander. My ah-ha moment came when you talked about leaving the feed dogs up and setting stitch length to 0 to provide just enough friction to allow a little more control! Wow! 🤯

Rosita Navarrete-Flores

Thanks for sharing the process step and the variety of stitch patterns used. I can see the endless possibilities.

Deb LaDue

This was awesome! Loved, loved it was on a domestic machine and I learned some details on how better to use the free motion feet I have.

Pamela Klowak

I enjoyed your tutorial. You explained everything so well and although I have used a lot of straight line quilting, I definitely picked up some more design ideas and techniques to use to level up my quilting. Thanks so much Jen!

Patti Kauffman Adair

Jen, your tutorial was fantastic. I learned so much. You are a really good teacher. Thank you for sharing.

Diana DeForest

Thank you so much for your class on how to do this technique with a regular sewing machine. I really want to learn how to finish my own quilts with free motion quilting. This class gave me great ideas on how to practice those designs and end up with a fun whole cloth sampler!

Jan Dodd

Trying to decide what design to quilt for me is always the hardest part. I love how you made this easy by breaking it into smaller parts and repeating for muscle memory. Much appreciated!

Cheryl Hagedorn

It turned out beautifully! I am not sure I am ready for all the intricate detailed areas but at some point in time I will just need to experiment with them. I need to get the hopping foot first. Thank you for the wonderful demonstration! I enjoyed watching it.

Liz Bonnell Yates

Jen is an organized excellent teacher. She walks the student through materials needed, and each step of the wholecloth quilting project with tips along the way. Thank you! Can't wait to try this.

I loved your free motion, straight line whole cloth class.

Beth Rowan Excellent presentation and great project for learning free motion! Thanks for the detailed instructions and the video demonstrating the process. Hoping to take some time in the next few days and try this.

Sheila Willis

I'm late with my comment but have been a day late since Tuesday of a very busy week and trying to fit everything in. coming back here to say how much i enjoyed your demonstration, but my biggest take away was how you isolated parts of your designs (like the cat eye) by leaving some parts unquilted. I've always felt i have to have quilting of some sort EVERYWHERE! you've opened my eyes to a different way to use designs, thank you so much.

Carol Kippy Gordon

I enjoyed watching you use various designs to fill in the whole cloth mini quilt. I hop I signed up correctly for the free course you are offering.

Eileen Neuenschwander

You have given me such confidence in my ability to learn this. When it comes to design part of courses to save patterns and things.

Sharon Hill Pearson

I loved your session and how you broke the design into manageable steps. I realized I had bought your Free-Motion Pattern Book before and never used it. I now purchased the book that goes with it. I will challenge myself to move forward with confidence!

Terrie McKinney

Thank you so much for the class. I am excited to try it out

Jay Thayer

Wow this was definitely and Ah Ha for me. I am new to Longarm quilting and just bought the automation. But I've noticed others quilts with all of this fancy design quilting and wish to do some of this in my quilts.
