Working with a Baltimore Album Quilt from 1845, and in the public domain, we will learn how to extract – or trace- three motifs to create at least 10 digital quilting designs, including edge to edge, border, and block designs. Find inspiration and motivation in this intermediate-level, 67 minute course.
This course will start you on your journey of digitizing designs from your own surroundings..
Together, we'll identify recognizable shapes to isolate and develop into digital motifs.
Use those motifs to create interesting edge to edge quilting designs and vector-based artwork for other end-uses.
Learn Jen's methods for creative development and her process for make art and designs than you'll need.
This class will introduce you to digital design. The class is intended for creators who are comfortable in PS Designer or for students who want to jump in with both feet. Jen will walk you though the steps of digitizing artwork from a backdrop image.
